VZW Storm Owners Getting Upgrade May 31st…maybe
Looks like big red is going to drop an update for the Storm…maybe
If things go as planned Storm owners should see an update coming down from Verizon starting May 31st. Assuming that they approve it. It wasn’t too long ago that Rogers went ahead released OS .141 to their customers and Verizon apparently said no to it. Now it appears that whatever issues Verizon had may be cleared up in this release. Now for the catch…this update doesn’t appear to be an improvement over our current leaked OS already available on the web right now. As you can see below the 4.7.0.203 referenced above would appear to relate to the .148 OS we’ve already got our dirty little paws on. Then again they could just be on to build .203 on the .203 platform…stranger thing have happened. But that would also mean that Verizon was able to test and prep an update without the general public getting it first.
We’ll just have to wait and see what comes down the pipe on Sunday at 6pm….stay tuned
